She possesses an abundance of love for everybody, which truly shines through her actions. As a preacher, teacher, and intercessor, she is always ready to pray and preach at the drop of a hat. Her love for God is unwavering, and she never gives up, no matter the circumstance or situation she finds herself in. She is a true warrior and a soldier in the army of the Lord.

To date, Apostle continues to serve as Senior Pastor at Great Commandment Fellowship Worldwide Ministries Inc. and President of the Apostolic Counsel of Ministries Network. Apostle Bowers has three Doctoral degrees in Theology and Divinity. She remains connected to New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, GA, under the guidance and covering of Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant who succeeded the late Bishop Eddie Long. Apostle Bowers is also the Founder of Lighthouse Worldwide Ministries Inc in Snellville, GA. Additionally, she has a fully accredited Apostolic School of Theology, accredited by Christian Fellowship International.

Apostle is anointed, called and chosen by God. She loves, lives and leads like Christ. Apostle Bowers believes in God’s healing power as she has experienced healing from cancer, kidney disease and limb length discrepancy. Her stance and motto are that she “shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind” as Matthew 22:39 proclaims. This is also what her ministry is based on. Apostle preaches, teaches and lives the Word she evangelizes. God has given her His heart for souls. She loves and encourages all.

Apostle Bowers began a Bible study at Delaware State College with some students at her desk. When they stopped her from meeting there, she moved it outside during her lunch break, then to her home. The first church was established in Whatcoat Village, Dover, Delaware, and later shared a church with Apostle Chester Boyd in Star Hill, Delaware. Later, God blessed them with a place in a Daycare Center. When Bishop James Ashley moved out of his church to build a new one, he let GCF use his building, but nearby neighbors called the police, claiming noise disturbances. They opposed the church because they wanted to build a garage for trucks. Eventually, GCF moved to a skating rink in Felton, Delaware. Throughout these challenges, the Lord provided for GCF and the work entrusted with. She never gave up, and despite everything, she is still standing strong.
