MEET OUR PASTOR

Apostle Dr. Olive M. Bowers

Our Pastor is a true woman of God who walks by faith. She loves, lives and leads like Christ. Her ministry is based on Matthews 22:37-40, The great commandment and the great commission according to Matthews 28:19-20. She is a woman of great wisdom. She walks in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit; to lay hands on the sick and see the power of God manifest, to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind and to set free those that are hurt and bruised.

Apostle Bowers is a licensed Evangelist, ordained Pastor and Bishop and a confirmed Apostle and has doctorate degrees in theology and divinity (D.T. & D.D). She is the founder of Great Commandment Fellowship Worldwide Ministry, Inc and Lighthouse Fellowship Worldwide Ministries, Dover, DE and Atlanta, GA. She is also the founder of Lighthouse School of Theology (fully accredited). Apostle Bowers is also an entrepreneur.

GREAT COMMANDMENT FELLOWSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1983 IN DOVER, DELAWARE, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF APOSTLE OLIVE CANNON-BOWERS (PASTOR AND FOUNDER). GREAT COMMANDMENT IS A WORLDWIDE COLLABORATIVE NETWORK OF STRATEGIC KINGDOM LEADERS FROM THE FAITH, EDUCATION, MARKETPLACE AND CARE-GIVING FIELDS. WE PRIORITIZE THE POWERFUL SIMPLICITY OF THE WORD OF JESUS CHRIST TO LOVE GOD AND TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND TO SEE OTHERS BECOME FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST. (MATTHEW 22:37-40, MATTHEW 28:19-20) WE EXPERIENCE AND ENCOUNTER THE SCRIPTURES AND ENGAGE IN AUTHENTIC TRANSFORMATION IN THE CHURCH AND COMMUNITIES, IN INTIMACY, ONENESS IN MARRIAGES, PARENTING AND DISCIPLINING THEIR CHILDREN IN THE KINGDOM, IMPACTING OUR COMMUNITY AND CULTURES. WE ARE A MULTICULTURAL MINISTRY AND WELCOME ALL NATIONALITIES.
